Good gracious, who knew that there was a site called Normal Room where you can just peek at people's homes and even upload pictures of your own. I have only had a quick look at the site but the few rooms I have seen seem remarkably tidy and uncluttered. Is that normal? Of course there will have been a tidy up before taking the pictures. If I were to take a picture of my living room at this precise moment I would have to remove an exercise step that my Daughter has abandoned in front of the TV, a tea towel which has appeared under a coffee table, numerous tissues that have been used for cleaning glasses and "saved" to be used again, a TV mag and a cat toy that whirls a feather around and does not interest the cat in the slightest. Speaking of clutter, it reminds me of the teacher at yoga last week. He was demonstrating the triangle pose against a wall for perfect alignment but commented that he couldn't do that at home as it was too cluttered. I know he only meant that he didn't have a wall free but I got a vision of him doing his yoga practise in the tiny spaces between piles of stuff.
