PocketMod

At this time of year I always go on a decluttering and organising mission. I usually vow to stick to my planners and systems, the creation of which I enjoy, and then usually forget about them until the end of the next year. I have all sorts of diaries, tickler files, index cards, personal organisers, you name it and no doubt I will have spent hours setting one up at some time. The setting up, of course, is just another form of procrastinating; too busy to tackle the actual tasks, got to colour code my planner. Of course, even the smallest organiser or diary takes up room in your handbag, which is why the PocketMod is such a fantastic little invention. To quote from their site

Getting Santa Clause to Visit at Christmas in Sims 2

My Daughter wanted to know how to get Santa to visit in The Sims 2. There is an excellent description at compsimgames. Basically, buy a tree, bake some cookies but not early, about 9 pm, so that the sims don't gobble them all up - Santa will want one - and send them to bed. Santa visits at 10 and leaves a present.

Cats In Sinks

Spend a pleasant few minutes admiring Cats in Sinks. The site is part of the Kitten Wars , another pleasant time waster whilst waiting for your teacake to toast.

Venus and Cupid Sculpture

This sculpture is called Venus and Cupid and is situated on Morecambe Promenade near the golf course. I pass it in the evenings on my way to VVV Health Club and I notice that someone has adorned it with tinsel. In the dark the tinsel seems to be part of the artwork as it flutters and catches a little bit of light. It adds to the sense of movement I suppose. I haven't seen it, with tinsel, during the day so cannot comment on the effect.This picture was kindly provided by AC on a Bike~Golden Days.
