Morecambe Sands

A lovely day today, warm and sunny and Sir was having a rare day off so we went for a long walk along the promenade.

There were people sunbathing in bikinis. It was warm but not that warm.

We waited our turn at the statue to take this pic. of DD. She has no idea who Eric Morecambe was, but she's always ready to pose. Of course this slight warming prompted sir to turn the heating off and it was only the pitiful sight of DD and I sat in our coats after tea that made him put it back on. Having a go at putting these two on as thumbnails so that the page loads faster. In theory, if you click them , they turn into a full size image.

DD was particulary fascinated by the "sinking sand", her imagination running riot.
