Knitted jacket

I found a picture of this jacket that I knitted in 2003 and have never worn because I put it away in a drawer and forgot about it. The picture was taken before I put the buttons on.

 

Short sleeved cotton top

I finally found a yarn I liked to make this short sleeved cotton top. Patons 4ply cotton is a very good price and the right weight for this design. I finished a sleeve last night. I'm not sure whether to do the leafy pattern edging on the actual body. I might just do the picot edge and straight into the main pattern.

Cabled Jumper by Fiona Morris

Oh dear, another lovely pattern to add to my stash. This is designed by Fiona Morris and is in the May 2005 edition of Knitting Magazine. The King Cole anti tickle wool is a steal at £14.50 for 500g and a good range of colours. Darling daughter points out that I have too many unfinished projects as it is. Who's the grown up?....erm...well.
